Tom Tolar Retires as Sarkes Tarzian Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer

 After 40 years with the Company and WRCB-TV

 Chattanooga, TN – WRCB-TV shares Tom Tolar’s announcement that he will retire after 40 years of service to the company on January 9, 2022.  Tolar will retire as Chief Operating Officer of WRCB-TV’s parent company, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc.  He began his career with Sarkes Tarzian as General Manager of WATI Radio in Indianapolis and was President/General Manager of WRCB-TV in Chattanooga for 35 years. Tolar has served as President of Sarkes Tarzian Television and Chief Operating Officer for the past three years.

We have shared a commitment to providing the best possible service to our viewers, our listeners, our communities and our advertisers. I have been fortunate to be associated with such an outstanding group of colleagues.”

Tolar has been with WRCB-TV/Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. since 1981. Tolar and his wife, Nancy, live in Hixson. They have two grown children and three grandchildren.
